Travis is motivated by continuously learning new machine processes to improve efficiency and meet production goals. He enjoys understanding operations and takes pride in training new team members while maintaining high standards. What motivates you in your role?
What motivates me is learning new things about the machines every day so I can become more knowledgeable on how our process works, run the machines more efficiently, and make sure we meet our goals every day. I set high standards for myself and continue learning to improve my skills.
What is your favorite thing about working here?
Learning and understanding how the process works and running machines to meet production goals. I also enjoy training new manufacturing staff on the weekend crew and helping them understand and follow the process.
What values of the company do you like most?
Knowing that there is growth and opportunity within the company.
Which aspects of your job make you the proudest?
Knowing that I am reaching my goals and expanding my knowledge every day to hit targets and maintain high standards as an employee.
What is your favorite benefit/perk of working at PLI?
Having medical benefits that help support my family.
What advice do you have for someone considering working or applying at PLI?
I recommend that anyone coming in as a machine operator be willing to learn and keep an open mind to better understand the process and how PLI’s operations work.

Every day when I come in, I challenge myself to do better than the day before. I want to keep my customers happy.
What is your favorite thing about working here?
Many co-workers have become good friends. I have some great relationships with long time customers as well – they are a joy to work with!
What values of the company do you like most?
Collaboration and Diligence. Everyone takes these seriously to make sure we put out the best product possible. I am happy that Fun is making a comeback in Sales. Contests and celebrations are making for a more positive and relaxed atmosphere.
Which aspects of your job make you the proudest?
The positive feedback from customers regarding our product quality and customer service. It is truly a team effort at PLI!

I like the flexibility.
